Need Advice? How we can help during lockdown.

In the wake of the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) Epidemic, Brooksbank’s Debt and Benefit Advice Service have been busy assessing how we can continue to provide a high-quality service to both new and on-going clients.

In order to protect the health of both clients and staff, as well as follow the current government guidance, we are no longer able to provide face - to –face appointments at this difficult time. However, we are aware of the extra financial pressures faced by families and individuals as a result of Coronavirus.

Brooksbank’s Debt & Benefits Advice Service is still providing a high quality service, however this has been adapted to be delivered either over the phone and/or via email. The number to call is 01382 432450 and the email address is : admin@brooksbankcentre.co.uk

We will continue to provide advice and assistance in the following areas:

  • Complete detailed benefit checks

  • Give advice on how to apply for benefits

  • Provide advice and guidance with completing benefit forms over the phone

  • Help you challenge benefit decisions

We will also continue to provide all aspects of debt advice including;

  • Negotiate with creditors to reduce payments or place on hold

  • Complete financial statements

  • Explain all available debt options, based on your circumstances

  • Help you apply for a Debt Payment Programme or bankruptcy

  • Negotiate with landlords and mortgage companies

This is not an exhaustive list so if you have any other benefit or money problems, please give us a call and let us see if we can help.
