Dundee Carer’s Centre launches shopping card for unpaid carers

The electronic Adult Carers Card has been developed for people who have a caring responsibility for someone in a household other than their own.

The cards will be issued to people collecting medication or groceries on behalf of a vulnerable person.

It is hoped the cards will ease the pressure on unpaid carers, especially when accessing protected periods in supermarkets and pharmacies, during the Covid-19 crisis.
